Looky what I got!!

I am so excited to use this puppy! I embellished the front a little with flowers & sequins. (Both from K & Company I think.) So far I just have a list written in there, but I carry it around with me everywhere in case there's something I need to 'smash' in. ;)

My first card project will be finished soon, hopefully by tomorrow! I was putting it off until I got a Cricut cartridge in the mail, but it's taking a little longer to ship than expected & the birthday party is in 3 days! So I just did without.

Birthday Wish advice cards

Here's my Birthday Wish advice cards that I mentioned in my previous post. I had friends & family fill out a special 1st birthday wish for Lauren that she could look back on when she's older. I got the idea from seeing wedding advice cards all over the place, so I thought "Why not make BIRTHDAY advice cards?!" I'm thinking about putting some of these bad boys on my etsy shop when I have the time. Enjoy!

Birthday Time Capsule

After finding this fabulous idea on Babycenter, I decided to make a time capsule for my daughter's first birthday.
Here's a list of things I put inside:

• invitation 
• party favors
• plate with her theme (1st Birthday Diva)
• Birthday Wish advice cards (made by yours truly, filled out by friends & family)
• a few other mementos (ribbon, photos, etc.)

My husband says I'm a hoarder but I think that Lauren will enjoy looking at this when she's older. :)

 

PS- The bin is from Target in the kid's bedroom section.
