I love how this sketch looks like a present in a way. 
So of course I had to add ribbon!

The paper is from the Farmhouse collection by Crate Paper.
Super adorable and country looking.
The ribbon I got in a swap this month. I love this color & it matched the paper perfectly!
My flowers & pearls are Recollections.
The sentiment is an itty-bitty from Unity Stamp Co.

I really liked using this sketch because I got to incorporate a doily into it.
{LOVE my Doilies!!}
And flowers.

Day 29- ILS by Tsunami Rose Challenge

Hey hey! 
Back again with another sketch from Daisy of Tsunami Rose Designs

My card:

This card was fun to make! 
The image is from the Frames 12x12 paper, Graphic 45 "Le Romantique"
(Love that paper line!)

I hand-dyed the Wilton doilies myself with food coloring. It was fun!
The flowers are Recollections & the pearl trim is from Joann's.
MUST GET MORE! I'm almost out...
The background paper is from Lost & Found "Portobello Road" by MME

I decided to leave the sentiment off this card.

ILS by Tsunami Rose Challenge- Day 27 & 28


Done catching up! Here's 2 days worth of sketches & cards!


For this card, I used My Mind's Eye Lost & Found for the background paper, inked with Vintage Photo.
The sentiment is from a clear stamp set by Inkadinkadoo, also inked with Vintage Photo distress ink.
The vintage dictionary paper & printable is from Daisy

The pearls & flowers are Recollections.

And Day 28..



This card was super easy to make! The background paper is from MME Lost & Found
It already looked like a postcard so it was perfect for this sketch.
All I did was add a banner stamp,
{From MME Lost & Found "Blush" collection}
some pearls & flowers (Recollections)
& a really cute image from Le Romantique by Graphic 45
(off of the "Frames" 12x12 paper)

I love the bright yellows in this card.

ILS by Tsunami Rose Challenge- Day 26

Trying to catch up on my posts!!
This was from a couple days ago, sketch #4

 And my card!

I used some Vintage dictionary paper that I got from Daisy for the background paper.
Contact her directly to get some for yourself!
The striped paper is from MME Lost & Found. (Portobello Road I think!)
The lace I got in a swap from this month. 
(LOVE IT!)
The pearls & fabric flower are Recollections.
The chipboard sentiment was in the dollar bin @ Joanns.
The vintage image I got online from Clearly Vintage

Sorry it took so long to get this posted!
Hopefully I can whip out a couple more cards today to get caught up.

Day 25- ILS by Tsunami Rose Challenge

Hey guys! 
Back today with sketch #29 by Daisy of Tsunami Rose Designs.

 And my card..

For this card, I used my Lucy paper packet from CTMH.
I love how bright & cheery it is, and also how it has lace & newsprint in the background.
Too Perfect!
I used my new favorite stamp, by Hampton Art, that I got at Michael's.
The tassle trim also came from Michael's.
The pearl trim is from Joann's & lastly, the chiffon rosettes are from Maya Road. (I think!)

I inked the edges in "Cotton Candy," from CTMH.

Day 24- ILS by Tsunami Rose Challenge

Hi everyone!
So I HAD this card almost done, then totally messed it up by over-stamping. So I deconstructed it and made a better, 2.0 version. I hope you like it!
Here's the sketch for today:

 And my card..

This version is sooo much better than what I had originally come up with. Trust me...
I used paper from Crate Paper "Portrait" for everything on here.
LOVE that wood background!

The sentiment is from TPC Studio "Sewing" rubber cling stamps.
I am slightly obsessed with any stamp that has to do with sewing. And I don't even sew!
The buttons on the top left & bottom right, along with the pearl button, are from Creating is Fun.
Be sure to stock up on some pretties, as everything in the shop is 40% off!

The white stretch lace is from Daisy Collins! Contact her directly to get some!
The seam binding & twine is just stuff I have laying around.

Keep Calm & Carry On Card


I just got this stamp today from Michael's and couldn't wait to use it!
Here's the card I made:


I just LOOOOVE it.
I head embossed the stamped image with black onto cream cardstock.
{I go through that stuff like a mo-fo!}
I inked the edges with black ink next.
Yesterday, I die-cut a whole bunch of doilies with my doily die from Cheery Lynn designs.
So I added a black one to the background, along with black lace from Creating is Fun.
I added some pearl & lace trim from Joann's over the black lace.
Next I grabbed some seam binding and a super neat button {from Joann's} to form a bow.
The embellishments on the bottom right hand corner are from Recollections.

I had fun making this card! As I always do with everything I make. 
Basically, I just wanted to play with my new stuff.

ILS by Tsunami Rose Challenge- Day 23

Only 8 more days until June! Which means 8 days until my birthday!! Whooo. 
Today's sketch is #27


 I actually decided to do a 6x6 mini scrap page for this sketch!

This is the first time I've made a layout from a sketch but I knew this sketch was perfect for it!
I used Heidi Swapp "Sugar Chic" paper & the banner is from the same collection also.
{The banners are called "Delights" I think.}
The pearls & flowers on the bottom right are Recollections.
The fab pink flower is from a 2010 Prima collection. 
The doily die cut behind the flower is a Die-Namics die, using paper from Sugar Chic.

I just wanted something to remember this time in my daughter's life because she is learning something new & changing everyday! Always with a smile on her face... most of the time. ;)

ILS by Tsunami Rose Challenge- Day 21

Back again with another beautiful sketch from Daisy of Tsunami Rose Designs! 
This month has gone by pretty fast, can't wait until next month!
Today is sketch #30
And my card...


I'm totally keeping this card. I love the paper and the flowers.. everything. GORGEOUS. 
The paper & sentiment tag is from the My Mind's Eye "Miss Caroline-Fiddlesticks" 6x6 paper pad.
Must. get. another.

The flowers are Kaisercraft's paper blooms in fuchsia? I think.
The lace is from the Creating is Fun Zibbet shop. 
I heard that they -MiGHT- be having an Anniversary sale... Go check it out! ;)

I punched the edge of the blue paper with the Martha Stewart "Doily" edge punch.
I couldn't wait to use it!
