My card:

I used the Vintage Mason Jar paper in Teal.
This is one of my favorite colors & I'm so glad Daisy offered the paper in this color because it is sooo adorable.
I immediately thought "wedding" when I saw my completed card. ;)
This was a super easy sketch for me to do because I knew I as going to use buttons and.or flowers for the circles. (I ended up using buttons.)
I used my Martha Stewart edge punch again at the bottom of the paper and added lace from Creating is Fun underneath.
The plain buttons came from Michael's in their value bins & the pearl cluster buttons are from Joann's
I also used flat-back pearls & seam binding from my stash.
The sentiment is one that I typed up in Word & printed out.

I love this card & Daisy makes it so easy with her fabulous sketches & papers!

Please make sure to comment one everyone's blog a chance to enter!!

My card using Vintage Canning Jars - B&W

I liked using this sketch because of all the gorgeous flowers I got to incorporate into it.
{IamRoses flowers sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang}
The vintage canning jar paper is one of my favorite papers Daisy has in her shop right now.
It can be used in so many different styles of cardmaking/scrapbooking.
My mother-in-law is always canning something, it seems, so this card would be perfect for her. ;)

I used a doily in the background & some Tim Holtz tissue tape also.
The scalloped boarder is a Martha Stewart punch
(My favorite ever!)
Lastly, the sentiment is a handmade stamp I got off of Etsy.

Please make sure to comment one everyone's blog and come back for tomorrow's daily sketch challenge for another chance to enter!!

ILS by Tsunami Rose Challenge

I've been a little preoccupied with other projects lately so I haven't had a chance to post my cards using Tsunami Rose sketches.
Here's a card I made today, using sketch #27

I also used a stamp of the week from Unity for the main image & sentiment.
The flowers are I am Roses & the tea-dyed doily (that WAS white) is from Creating is Fun.
The papers are Prima; the script banners from Almanac & everything else is Nature Garden.
I distressed the edges with my handy Tim Holtz distresser & added some flatback pearls.
:)

Looooove it!
I can't wait to use those dress forms on something..

ILS by Tsunami Rose challenge- JUNE!! Day 1

Hey hey hey!
I'm back again with the first card of June.

Obviously I used a Tsunami Rose Designs sketch for this card.
{Video to come later!}

I also used some I am Roses flowers in this card.
I just got my very first order a couple days ago
(wayyyy sooner than it said to expect my order!)

And.... I can't believe I haven't bought any before!
Sorry Recollections.. I've found new flowers. :P
I used Ranger Perfect Pearls mist in Perfect Pearl to mist the big white flowers.
Here's a couple close ups:

The paper is Prima "Romantique" (Which I also just got, LOVEEE)
I inked the edges in Tim Holtz distress ink "Antique Linen"
The sentiment is "Devoted" from Unity Stamp Co.
The die cut behind the flower is by Die-Namics.
The pearl trim is from JoAnn's.

All of my beautiful lace & trims came from the Creating is Fun Zibbet shop!
Go check it out.. I promise you will be addicted like me in no time!

It feels good to get back in the card making mood.
Lately all I have been doing is shopping for new stuff,
but not actually making anything with my new purchases!

Hopefully I can catch up on my posts soon!
